Decluttering 2012
"Think about who you want to be this coming year."
This year, I would like to declutter my apartment and my life.
This year, I would like to declutter my apartment and my life.
- So to start with, I am starting a spiritual program lead by a special guide. Thank you, Diane.
- I will be following the calendar to clean out my home.
- I will be working out several times a week to get in physical shape, clearing out the body clutter.

8-Week Challenge
Today is the beginning of the National Woman's Challenge, the third one that I have participated in. It will be especially challenging for me this year since I am planning foot surgery in June.
In the past years, the Challenge involves using an Activity Tracker. Activities are classified by moderate, strenuous, and strength-building. Even though I will not be able to walk, I can still strength train and do crunches. If I am in a wheelchair, I can go to the track and do cardio with my arms.
Barry, Steph, and I have talked about what to do about monitoring my eating. So I will still work on that. Of course, I will be in a lot of pain so there will be obstacles.

Almost met the goal
I am so close to meeting my goal for this month - only 1 mile. On top of that, I ran 2 out of 3 miles non-stop. to think that in November, I would not have even considered running. Just power walking.
I have also lost some more weight. I am down to 150.5 lbs now. I dropped my WW subscription because we can't afford it right. YK, the economy has kept Barry from pulling in any work. But I am tracking my activity and food via FitDay. It has been working pretty well.

Run: 1/10/2009
Today was the best run yet. I ran 5.13 mi in 62 min, 18 sec. That's a 12' 07" mi/min. I feel really great.
I cancelled my Weight Watchers subscription. I really just don't have the time to fully use like I need to. And haven't used it the way that I wanted too for the past three weeks. Besides, Steph says that my scale isn't working correctly. If she isn't right then my body fat percentage is 29%. A caucasian woman my age and weight should have a 22% body fat.
